Awards

Elizabeth has been entering state, national and international awards since she received her accreditation in early 2014 and earned her first honours (associates) in 2015, one year after first entering.  The AIPP Epson State and the National AIPP Canon APPA’s are Australia’s most prestigious photographic awards. Held annually, photographers from all over Australia and the world compete in categories and have 4 images judged by a panel of 5 of Australia’s most recognised and experienced professional photographers. The WPPI awards, held internationally, are one of the leading international photography awards with talented photographers entering from all around the world. Out of thousands of photographers that enter each year, only a small percentage of prints are put in the ‘award’ category – Silver (80-84), Silver with distinction (85-89), Gold (90-94) and Gold with distinction (95-100). For a print to be awarded, it needs to exceed the standard level of professional practice that the judges expect to see in a professionals everyday work – it needs to be superior in craft and skill.
